QR codes for streamers: overlay, panel, and IRL
Streaming is the one place where a QR code has a captive second screen: your viewer is already holding a phone while watching on a monitor or TV. That makes codes unusually effective on an offline screen, a starting-soon scene, or a corner overlay during long segments.
Off-stream, the same code does the work on convention banners, table signs and merch. Twitch names are short, so the code stays low-density and scannable from a few metres — a real advantage over a link-in-bio URL with a long path.
Keep the destination stable. Encode your channel rather than a specific schedule page or a temporary campaign link, so the sticker you hand out at a convention still works next year.
Every Twitch code made here is static: the link lives in the pattern itself, with no redirect service in the middle that can expire, start charging or go down. There's no account, no watermark and no scan limit — download it once and it keeps working for as long as the Twitch link behind it does.
